It may still seem a while until my departure on 2nd September (flight booked this morning!) but its less than 8 months.
The prep work is stepping up a gear, with a lot of the Christmas holiday and my weekends spent researching websites, forums, and guidebooks for the latest information. Plus, given the recent events in both Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast – the only country whose official name is written in French alone) and Tunisia, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the news. Hopefully things are calming down…
