The latest people to demand change of governance are those of Egypt – which of course lies along my route like Tunisia and Cote D’Ivoire. This will (hopefully) be sorted out (either way) quickly, desperate as Egypt will be to maintain its tourism. The Foreign Office currently has a travel advisory warning against all but essential travel to the country.
Meanwhile, the planning continues. This weekend I learnt about the two Congos, and changes in Ghana since my visit in 2006.
