A big tick – so far

Much to my surprise, and despite the outbreak of democracy that appears to be taking place across the coastal nations of Africa, everything seems to be going to plan. This is in large part to the help of friends, and friends of friends, who know something/someone beneficial to the trip. A rather large thank you must go to Horatio Clare, author of the fantastic A Single Swallow as well as others, who has gone out of his way to provide help and support from the beginning.
Also a big thank you to those people who contact me out of the blue, wishing me well and the like, these sorts of messages really enliven me!
